Click above for pricing	The Zoom CableModem Model 5001 internal is Zoom's most economical cable modem. The space saving internal design plugs into an available slot on Windows desktop computers, providing a highly reliable connection and eliminating the need for an Ethernet network card. Installation software is provided for easy plug-and-play installation with Windows XP, Me, 2000 and 98 systems. In addition, Zoom's unique CableModem Monitor Software provides user-friendly troubleshooting if problems are encountered on the network. The Model 5001 has been CableLabs certified as fully compliant with the Data Over Cable System Interface Specification 1.0 (DOCSIS 1.0), ensuring interoperability and a high level of performance with industry-standard cable systems. In addition, the modem has received @Home Level 2 Approval to certify that the modem complies with broad industry standards for interoperability, compatibility and performance. The cable modem supports up to fifteen PCs and a data rate of up to 42 Mbps downstream from the service provider and 10.2 Mbps upstream.
