Installing a motherboard is difficult for the novice and quite often results in a burnt cpu or motherboard. Even experts prefer barebone systems because it saves them the time and hassle of installing a motherboard.
• You can customize your bare bone system. Buy the barebone system and then select the CPU and other peripherals of your choice.
• Barebone computers save you money. Try salvaging as much as you can from your old PC. Usually it is cheaper to upgrade your existing PC than buying a completely new system.
