The SP-691 is an economical, compact USB-powered two-piece systems for desktops or laptops. Only 6" tall, they take little space.

They plug into your sound output jack like any other speakers, but they plug into your USB connector for power. They can be powered by your laptop with no other power source required, they turn off when you turn the computer off, and they are less expensive, you save the cost of the additional power supply
