| AT&T's 900 MHz 9450 digital cordless answering
system is really two products in one: a high-quality cordless phone
and an answering machine.This model features spread spectrum technology,
which, according to the manufacturer, means it has twice the range of an
ordinary cordless phone and hardly any interference. Advanced channel auto
select automatically selects the clearest channel, and advanced digital
voice privacy guards against other cordless phone users from stumbling upon
your conversation. You can pick your favorite ringer sound out of four choices,
and adjust the five-level handset volume. You can also program up to 20
numbers for speed dialing. The handset has a 6-hour rated battery life while
in use, and this model also comes with a battery charger so that you can
always have a backup handset battery.The answering machine uses tapeless
digital technology, so you don't have to worry about your message tape being
eaten. Up to 12 minutes of record time are available, with time/day stamp
and voice prompts. There are three individual voice mailboxes so that no
one has to listen to messages that aren't theirs. Messages can be reached
from the handset, as well as from any touch tone phone. Calls can be screened
