This system consists of a cordless station unit and corded handset and is expandable up to eight cordless extensions(KX-TGA400B-optional), so no wiring is required. 2.4GHz frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) digital operation provides clear, high-quality sound and protects your conversations from eavesdropping. It offers an integrated voicemail system containing up to eight mailboxes with individual greetings. The total message recording time is 100 minutes and an auto-attendant feature can automatically route callers to designated extensions or voice mailboxes. Voice prompts and time/date stamp makes the voice mail system easy to operate for callers and users alike. In case of a power outage, the base unit has a backup battery that powers the entire system for 20 minutes.
