IBM PORTABLE DRIVE BAY |

The IBM Portable Device Bay is designed for
maximum flexibility and usability. It offers an UltraslimBay enclosure in an attractive
portable package that can be attached to the ThinkPad PCMCIA slot via the included PC
card. The UltraslimBay CD-ROM, DVD, Zip, SuperDisk (LS-120), and second hard drives can be
easily inserted into the IBM Portable Device Bay for use with most ThinkPads including the
popular ThinkPad 240, 390, 560, 570, 600, and 770 models.
The IBM Portable Device Bay, with the appropriate IDE device, allows for portable and
convenient installation of: CD-ROM software, multimedia CD-ROM audio playback, DVD movie
playback, access to CD-ROM and DVD based applications and databases, large file storage,
hard disk drive back-up.
The IBM Portable Device Bay can be placed on a stand for space saving vertical mounting of
an UltraslimBay CD-ROM, DVD, Zip, and second hard drive (vertical mounting of the LS-120
drive is not supported).
Power for the Portable Device Bay is obtained via the PC Card port (a power adapter is not
required). Supplemental power is obtained with the three AA batteries (not included).
